Brennan is doing AWESOME!! He is back to school this week, but still on limited activity and diet restrictions. And trust me the diet restrictions is probably tougher than the activitiy restrictions. Anyone that knows Bren knows that he likes to eat. That's why this surgery was so bad. Most kids would be happy to eat ice cream, popsicles, jello, and pudding for a week, but not Bren. He is not really a sweet eater. In fact the entire drive to the hospital, he talked about all of the food that he could NOT eat for 14 days. It was pretty funny actually.
Saturday he should be "all good" and can go back to normal activity and FOOD!!!!
These two pictures are before the surgery. He was really excited for the surgery. I think that's why he was so ticked afterwards when it hurt like hell!!!!
And these are the after pictures. Bren was in this recovery room (which was very nice by the way) for two hours. The marks on his cheeks are mosquito bites. The night before surgery he spent the night at Bama and Papa's and was attacked my the stupid things!!!

Sooo glad Brennan is doing great! I remember telling my mom "Dr. Pappas sure tore up my throat" when I had my tonsils out! I was in the first grade!
brennan looks like he was a real trooper (at least pre-surgery;). i'm glad his restrictions will be lifted in a couple of days. bless his heart!!!
