As I'm sure you understand it is a bit overwhelming IN A GOOD way, adjusting to three kids. Don't get me wrong, we are completely THRILLED beyond belief about our family. BUT, my mom was right (my are you reading this?), three definitely makes a full house. Oh what a wonderful loud and beautiful family that we have!!!! Ian and Brennan are WONDERFUL big brothers. They like to help with "baby sister". Of course we still have to have little talks about what the baby likes and what she doesn't. Such as, she like when you make silly faces at her, but she does not like when you take her toys, etc. You get the drift! It is just so completely different than I expected. Everyone asked me before we brought Christina home who we thought would have the toughest time adjusting. I had no idea, I thought they would both be effected in different ways. And I was right! For the most part they are AWESOME, but at times they both will take their turn in acting out. Bren has gone from being my baby to now being the middle child. (I can relate! ;-) ) He's made a few comments. And Ian takes the role of big brother now much more serious.........when it suits him that is. But again, they have both really been great and they are a big help.
Christina is such a good baby. Much better than we could have even hoped for. She is pretty laid back. She really only cries when she is hungry or tired. And what a little trooper meeting the gazillions of new people that she has met so far. She has been so showered with love. She has charmed everyone that she meets. We are so happy to have her complete our family.
Now for some news on the not so positive side. Jesse's sister has taken a turn for the worse. Debbie has been battling cancer for the last 7 years. She has been going through chemo for the last 5 years. Her cancer started out in her colon and is now in her lungs. I am not going to go into too many details, as I am posting this on the world wide web. But please keep Debbie in your prayers. Currently she is in the hospital. We are hoping that she will begin breathing better and can return home.
Also, please know that we apologize about the delay in thank you notes. We are so appreciative for the many gifts we have received and are working on personal thank you notes.
Thank you all so very much for your love and support. Also, thanks to my cousin, Cara, (who has a blog that you MUST check out.......she is hysterical and her baby is BEAUTIFUL), I have fixed the comment section and you should be able to leave a comment if you'd like. We'd love to hear from you!!!!!
Take care!
