That is the phrase that has been uttered repeatedly over the past three weeks since Chrissi has been crawling!!! She went from barely 'moving', to crawling at turbo speed. The boys were SO excited for her to start crawling. Well, I think they have gone from excitement to dread everytime I put Chrissi down. My cousin Trisha bought them the game Hullabaloo for their birthday and the boys love to play it. The only problem is that Chrissi loves to eat it!!! "Mom, get the baby!!!!" She loves their cars, which of course she can't have because she could choke on the wheels........she loves their Ninja Turtles........their games........puzzles........you name it. She plays with EVERYTHING that the boys have and completely ditches her toys. Isn't that how it always happens?
She also loves to play with tupperware and big cooking spoons in the kitchen. I really don't think she will be a chef at this point........she would rather take the spoon and swing it like a bat. Pretty cute!!!
It is amazing to me how much crap accumulates on the floor. You know.....stuff that is not supposed to be in her mouth. I have to vacuum daily. Already this morning she has found the plastic taggy thing from a price tag on clothes, grass, and a fender from one of the boys little motorcycles.
In other news, we are going to take the kids to the Lake in a few weeks for several days. The boys are finally starting to feel comfortable in the water. It should be a blast! They can go swimming in the pool and play at the park right outside our door for a whole week. We will also take out the boat and just hang out on the water. We wanted to do something together before the kids start kindergarten. And unfortunately we are still broke after the expense of adoption. Whether we go to the Lake or somewhere else, the most important thing is spending time together as a family. Can't wait!!!!!
Jesse's hours have changed at work. He now works until 8pm most nights. This has been quite the adjustment for us and the kids. Although he is here longer in the morning, it is still difficult after a long day of babysitting to have the kids on my own. I feel bad for Jesse too, because usually when he gets home Chrissi is already in bed. We are all beginning to get used to the hours............well and unfortunately we don't have a choice. This too, we shall prevail!! Hopefully it won't be FOREVER. That is the one constant with his job...........change is constant!!!!! =)

Awww so cute that she's crawling! My neighbor Jack is starting to "scooch" and should be crawling any day now, but I have to laugh about the stuff he picks up on the floor. I told his mom to velcro a swiffer pad to his onesie and let him go to town in the kitchen, LOL.
