We went to my mom and dad's yesterday to have Christmas with my immediate family. My parents, us, Greg (older brother), Danny (younger brother), and my nephews Bradley and Dylan. You have never seen so many presents in your life!!! We are all so spoiled!!! We had such a wonderful day. We got there around 11am and ate snacks while we waited for "Uncle Greggy" to get there. He rolled in about 12:30.........it was a good thing because the kids were about ready to become unglued!!! The kids opened their mounds of presents, but much to our surprise, it was not quite as "NUTS" as it was last year. Ian first gift was a dinosaur (All of the boys received one from Greg), but Ian loved it so much that he had a hard time getting started with his other presents. Then he would open one present and play with the dinosaur again. It was really cute. At 3:00 my dad had set up the coolest thing for the boys. He has a friend that lives out of state that dresses up like Santa for his family or something, but he has the Santa thing down. The night before we emailed him personal information about the boys........including things they needed to work on. When he called we had him on speaker phone and he talked to each boy individually. Of course the kids acted like you would expect a 3, two 4, and a 5 year old would...........they hid behind us and wouldn't talk. Oh well, it was so cute!!!! My parents gave us such a nice Christmas. Good food, lots of laughs, lifetime memories.............and although it is not needed, lots of gifts..........but I'm not complaining! ;-)
On Saturday, Danny and I took all of the boys to have breakfast with Santa at the Renaud Center in O'Fallon. I have to share this with you. When we pulled in the parking lot Brennan excitedly said, "Mommy, are we at the North Pole?" "No, Honey, we are still in O'Fallon. Santa is coming here to see us." So then Brennan said, "Ok, well where are the reindeer?" At this point Danny and I were ducking our heads in the front seat so he couldn't see us cracking up laughing. Kids MAKE Christmas!!!!!! I LOVE IT!!!!
