Friday evening my good friend, Jaime, called to see if we wanted to be in the Cottleville Parade and walk with the Vetta float. We were all soooooo EXCITED!!
Sure the kids had SEEN parades, but had never been IN one.
Jesse had to work Saturday afternoon (overtime, which we are truly thankful
for any we can get), but he still came with us for a little bit to share in the fun!

Ian anxiously waiting to get this show on the road.

This is the back of the trailer. No walking for these boys, they couldn't wait to help pass out
candy and beads to everyone.

I wasn't sure if the balloons on the float next to ours were going to still be present
at parade time thanks to Chrissi, Dani, and Melia.

Melia and Dani enjoying their suckers while we waitied.

Chrissi and Dani are exactly one month and two days apart in age, and best buddies.
(Well, when they are not arguing, that is!)

She's so sad in this picture, but isn't she such a sweetheart.

Patiently waiting and getting a little irritated at me. Like it was my fault they were facing the sun when I wanted to take their pictures..........several times!

What a little angel!!!

Ian LOVED passing out necklaces to the kids on the street.

And Brennan's favorite was handing out candy. A few times he would get impatient waiting for the kid to take it and would see their "pile" on the ground and just throw it in there. Typical kid!

Chrissi walked about 3/4 of the parade. That's my lil' trooper for you.
She finally agreed to get in the float towards the end!!
She took a 3 hour nap later that day. She wore her little self out!

Melia and her daddy, Jason, enjoying the parade!

That is so cute of the boys passing out candy & beads. I didn't realize that they were going to do that. Wish I would have been there.
